They call him Four Combs Ted

That is one impressive outfit and some stupendous accessorising. Sao Paulo Fashion Week looks pretty fun if you ask me.

Some serenity for a Monday morning.

Wonderful video of divers in a flooded meadow, it's more or less equal to liquid valium.

Friday Snazz Times Link Joy

These are mostly NSFW offerings. I guess it's just been a dirty seven days, also I'm hungover and have a potty mouth. If you don't like it go dig up Mary Whitehouse.
  • You know all those sexy porn sex noises in porn? Well here's the lady making them
  • Charlie Sheen goes a rambling. This is the rambliest, most delusional rambly ramble I've heard in a long while. Give it some good listening time and you will reap the rambly rewards.
  • American children are frighteningly self-possessed. Beyonce has a lot to answer for. Link

  • The 11 best worst vagina tattoos of all time. Entirely safe for work.
  • A very amusing animated review of a video game. Phonetic pronounciations of grammatical ineptitude are always a laff.

That be all ladies and gentlemen. Have a nice day.

Thanks McSwoon, Campari Jack, LeVern and Creepy Bim for the links.

Epic hat

From Yvan Rodic's photog blogspot. That hat is like a furry crown of ridiculous wonderment and I want it.

Drawbridge up, Zombies out

I still have a deep rooted terror of all things apocalypse, it's been lying low which has been helped by not reading The Road or watching 28 fucking Days Later  in a while but now I know everything's going to be ok. Because KWK Promes have built a zombie bunker and I'm going to buy it and stock it with semtex, loo roll, pork scratchings and shitloads of solar-powered dvds.

Can't talk now advancing hoards, I'm in the pool listening to Rob Zombie's Dizzee Rascal remix Bunkers and the undead are NFI.

Thanks Friday! Internet links

She is NOT having a stroke so it IS fucking funny. Link

The picture of everything - a pretty grand undertaking. Zooming in is fun.

Snack to the Future - includes such corkers as Planet of the Crepes, As Good as Baguettes and So I Marinated an Axe Murderer with appropriately adjusted posters. (Thanks Emerald)

Ankle breaking catwalk calamity. In your face, you gazelle-like beauty. I hope she's ok.

Alpaca Attack - reporter looks like a scaredy wuss-bag.

That is it for now folks. Happy weekending.

Oh - and this, a mega-NSFW Argentinian Strictly Come Dancing entry. It is more or less porn and shamelessly brilliant. I especially like her covering her boobs up at the end when the 'dance' is finished - IT'S A BIT LATE FOR MODESTY LOVE.

Popping your clogs in style

Fun coffins from Ghana - what's not to like? I once found myself in a hysteria of sadness at a funeral which manifested itself in me crying with laughter. Obviously not the best reaction but I managed to pass it off as just crying - I think when you're that sad you can go either way. I'd definitely like to go off in a parrot fish coffin, and I'd like my friends and family to laugh at it. Then Time to Say Goodbye by Sarah Brightman will come on and they can go back to inconsolable wailing.

Lucy and Bart

Here is some more stuff from art duo Lucy and Bart, I can't stop looking at their pictures, they are freaking weird and excellent. The first two look like Sesame Street sponsored by Albert Hoffman.

Tokyo Drift...

...is so much better without Vin Diesel.

This Snow installation by Tokujin Yoshioka is made up of hundreds of kilos of feathers and is intended to bring to mind the memory of snow. The 15 metre wide exhibit is showing at Tokyo's Mori Art Museum and looks blurry gorgeous. See the video below.

Thanks internet! Friday links

  • This is excellent. Fat kid - that's all you need to know.
  • This is called the Konkreet Performer which is no way to spell anything. It's some sort of djing tool for the iPad and looks as cool as it looks complicated - that is, very.
  • The Wheelers - terror of my childhood. Whoever wrote Return to Oz is responsible for a lot of psychiatry bills.
  • Look to the moon, I don't really know what's going on here but I like it.. Click top left for more things I don't understand to occur.
  • Bombay - music vid by El Guchino. It's got a nice, summery, what the hell? vibe. Lots of boobs, trickery, guns, bubbles, 70s strangeness, explosions etc. It's nice. Watch it.
  • Whaaaaa? Which one is real? Samsung's hyper-realistic printer fucks with your mind. In a good way.
  • Jennifer Anniston masked monkey waiter. That's all I'm saying.
  • More moon. Scroll down, then up, then down, then up - repeat for a while if you haven't got much else going on.

  • JELLY!! Bompas and Parr are having way more fun than the rest of us making super cool things out of JELLY. Wobble on you crazy bastards.

and finally...

ONCE AGAIN - PLEASE GO JOIN @PIMPINTERN IF YOU'RE ON TWITTER - COULD GET ME A JOB AT SAATCHI & SAATCHI. KANYE CAPS SHOW I MEAN IT. I'LL BUY YOU CAKE IF YOU DO. I'LL TELL YOUR MOTHER IF YOU DON'T. Thanks.

Fetch me the Revolver

W.A.N.T  Hattie Rickards' effing cool selection of rings 'with an ethical backbone'. Her website is super slick and I seriously covet the Revolver ring (see bottom pic) which has added kinetic gemstone wonderment (it SPINS AROUND).

They're all amazing and varied, but evidently by her hand - they have a kind of geometric Medieval feel and I haven't seen anything else like them.

Boyfriends of the world - you've got four days till V day, get your chequebooks out.

60 Watt Squirrel

With more money and less self-discipline (actually I'm pretty sure my self-discipline is as low as it can be before it turns into rampant self-indulgence) I could easily turn my home into a crazy hodgepodge maze of wonderous crap, which is doubly dangerous as my love interest has the same inclinations - as his recent ebay bids on a stuffed barn owl in flight, a ship's wheel and several hock glasses prove.

Anyway, Alex Randall's lighting would feature heavily if my way had its way.
